Since 1926 the Oregon Society of Artists has been promoting the artistic and professional interests of its members as well as providing visual arts programs to the public. The OSA nurtures and promotes Oregon artists by providing exhibit opportunities, coordinating educational programs.and doing various art-related projects for the community.

There is a first Thursday evening meeting with an open critique meeting at 6:00 pm and is followed by a artist's demonstration at 7 PM. This event is free and open to the public.

General Meetings for all members are held each month on the second Thursday at 11 AM. Doors open at 10 AM , artist's demonstration following at 11 AM with a buffet at 12:15 PM and the OSA Board of Directors meeting follows at about 1:30 PM. The artist's demo and buffet are free and open to the public; however donations are greatly appreciated for the buffet.
